Freshman Fiascos: I'm leaving for college!

This is the diary of Mia Philips who starts a new phase of her life by joining college and discovering herself. She thinks of enjoying her peaceful college life but little does she know what awaits her. I hope my readers can relate to her experiences and have a good laugh at her clumsiness. It is completely a fiction and does not associate with the life of writer.

Hey so where do I start this? or How do I for that matter? I am simply too excited to start my college next week. For starters let me show you guys what my college looks like. (^w^)

Look at how beautiful my college campus is! I've put in an image for you to see. It's in the USA though. So really far away from home. (-_-)

I can hardly believe it, but here I am, officially a college student! I’ve been counting down the days, and now that it’s finally here, I’m bursting with excitement—and maybe just a tiny bit of nervousness. But mostly excitement! (^_^)

The idea of starting college has always felt like this big, distant dream, and now that I’m actually living it, it’s even more thrilling (and surreal) than I imagined. Moving into the dorms was a whirlwind of emotions—saying goodbye to my parents (cue the waterworks), meeting my roommate, Olivia (who, by the way, is awesome), and realizing that this tiny room is now my home away from home. The room is too tiny though. God knows how two people will fit in here. (-_-)

Classes start next week, and I’m already feeling that mix of curiosity and slight terror. There are so many things I want to explore, from diving into my major (Business Studies, obviously) to maybe trying something totally new, like joining a club or, who knows, even attempting to cook a meal that isn’t instant noodles. (No promises on that last one.) I'm so excited!!!! (^u^)

But what I’m most excited about is the freedom. The chance to really figure out who I am, what I want, and where I’m headed. College feels like this huge, open road, and I’m ready to take my first steps on it, even if I have no idea where it will lead. (>_<)

I’m sure there will be ups and downs (probably a lot of both), but I’m ready to take it all on. After all, this is what I’ve been dreaming of! I can’t wait to share this journey with you all—the highs, the lows, the hilarious mishaps, and the unforgettable moments. (o-o)

Here’s to new adventures, new friends, and a college experience that will (hopefully) be everything I’ve hoped for and more. (^w^)

Stay tuned—this is just the beginning!
